Destroying History: At first they came for Confederate Monuments and then Columbus, Thomas Jefferson and now those that fought for Texas independence at the Alamo. The Texas state school board has recommended striking the phrase 'heroic defenders' of the Alamo from it's textbooks. I suppose Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie, and Col. Travis were not heroes.
