The Left has co-opted Conservative position on Russia

Back in the 1960's those on the left identified those on the right as reactionary extremist who would, if left unchecked, get us in to a nuclear war with the old USSR, now just Russia.  A prime example of the left's paranoia was the movie "Doctor Strangelove" where a far right wing extremist air-force general, Jack D. Ripper played by Sterling Hayden launched a nuclear attack on Russia.  The general said,    "I can no longer sit back and allow Communist infiltration, Communist indoctrination, Communist subversion and the international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids".  Apparently today's left, the Resistance, has adopted General Ripper's view of Russia.   Read the full article here.....
