Well, that was sudden and out of the blue. Obama’s former national security adviser, Susan Rice, was supposed to testify on Capitol Hill today. She canceled that closed-door testimony before the Republican-led House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Some may be surprised by this. I’m not. They are saying the testimony is postponed, which can mean a bunch of different things. This meeting would have had to do with Rice’s unmasking of individuals and spying on the Trump campaign. I thought at the time she would never willingly testify and if she was forced to, she’d take the Fifth. She’s not even showing up.
Jim Jordan (R-OH) is really ticked off. He had a list of tough questions for Rice. Such as, “Did you unmask the names and if so why?” And then there’s the little matter of Benghazi and her whole role in that with a lied about video. You know, Benghazi, where four Americans were murdered and then we did nothing about it. We didn’t even rescue them and Obama and Hillary were nowhere to be found.
