Snowden Free in Russia: Putin tells Obama to take a Hike

EDWARD SNOWDEN IS FREE IN RUSSIA AS PRESIDENT PUTIN MORE OR LESS TELLS OBAMA TO TAKE A HIKE.  SOME WOULD SAY THAT SNOWDEN WON'T REALLY BE FREE IN RUSSIA, BUT WITH ALL THE SPYING ON AMERICANS BY OUR SO-CALLED CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT, I SUSPECT HE IS JUST AS FREE THERE AS HE WOULD BE HERE.  WHERE EVER YOU STAND ON SNOWDEN'S ACTIONS, YOU MUST RECOGNIZE THAT HIS ACTIONS BEGAN A DEBATE ON JUST HOW MUCH OUR OWN GOVERNMENT HAS TO SNOOP INTO OUR PERSONAL RIGHTS.  RIGHTS THAT HAVE IN THE PAST BEEN GUARANTEED BY THE CONSTITUTION, BUT RIGHTS THAT ARE NOW THREATENED BY NEW TECHNOLOGY AND THE EVER INCREASING POWER OF THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT.  SNOWDEN IS BEING ALLOWED TO REMAIN IN RUSSIA FOR ONE YEAR AT THIS TIME AS THAT STATE DECIDES TO GRANT HIM PERMANENT STATUS.  HONESTLY, I LIKE THE IDEA OF PUTIN KICKING SAND IN BARACK'S FACE.  ESPECIALLY WHEN I SEE HOW MOST POLITICAL LEADERS IN THE COUNTRY TREMBLE AT HIS MERE PRESENCE.  SO FOR THE MOMENT EDWARD SNOWDEN IS FREE IN RUSSIA AND OBAMA CAN'T DO A DAMN THING ABOUT IT.
