After years of debate the U.S. House has finally passed the Dog and Cat Meat Trade Prohibition Act much to the delight of dog and cat lovers across the nation. This act would forbid the killing of dogs and cats for human consumption. That said, I'm sorry to report there seems to be carve outs, some exceptions that for the moment remain secret. However rumors are flying that former President Barack Obama's Portuguese Water dogs (Bo and Sunny) are not covered by this historic act.
