PROGRESSIVES: "Weeds in the Garden of Democracy"

Those in the progressive movement like to think of themselves as protectors of tolerance and justice.  For those who may not be old enough to remember the peace movement of the 1960's and the so-called 'flower children' of that era.  They claimed to love everyone, that is everyone except our brave young soldiers returning home from the war in Vietnam.  These returning warriors were greeted not as heroes, but as blood-thirsty baby killers who were cursed and spat on by those claiming to be tolerant flower children.  Progressives continue, to this day, claim to be the party of peace and inclusion, but the reality is that this exist only to those that are dancing in lockstep to something akin to the old Beatles song "All You Need Is Love"  Of course, the stark reality is "all they have is hate".  Something they validate on the streets of America everyday.  Progressives are indeed 'weeds in the garden of democracy'.  With them, dissenting voices must be silenced and branded as 'hate speech'!
