Merry Christmas: Joy to the World

AS A YOUNG BOY I WOULD OFTEN WALK ACROSS THE CAMPUS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI AT CHRISTMAS TIME, WE LIVED IN HATTIESBURG, MS IN THOSE DAYS AS MY PARENTS WERE ACADEMICS AND LIVED RIGHT ON THE CAMPUS.  THE MOST WONDERFUL SOUNDS CAME FROM LOUD SPEAKERS SET ATOP THE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING WHERE TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS CAROLS WERE PLAYED THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND NIGHT. THE CAMPUS WAS ALMOST EMPTY ON THOSE DAYS AS THE KIDS WERE HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS. "JOY TO THE WORLD" IS JUST ONE OF THE CAROLS I REMEMBER FROM THOSE DAYS SO LONG AGO. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.
