If the Minutemen were forced to wait on Background Checks, the Revolution would have never come.

JUST THINK IF THE MINUTEMEN WOULD HAVE DEPENDED ON THE THEN CENTRAL GOVERNMENT FOR BACKGROUND CHECKS THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT OF LUCK.  THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN DECLARED "RADICAL PATRIOTS" AND DENIED THE RIGHT TO PURCHASE A WEAPON. 

WE WOULD STILL BE SAYING "HAIL TO THE QUEEN"!
